The Restaurant "Solar do Farelo" is a typical space in the Algarve placed in the inner Portimão council, about 6 Km from the Meridien Penina Golf Hotel, 11 Km from Alvor, and about 5 minutes from the International Speedway of the Algarve. It is in an orange production area, with a view to the orange groves in a field with the beautiful Serra de Monchique as background.

Our restaurant does not have available a fixed menu. Our gastronomic proposals are daily made, based in daily products, yet with much variety.

Aged in our Wine-Cellar, we propose to our clients many of the best wines in the country at unbeatable prices to drink in the restaurant or to take home.

On Christmas Time we take reservations with special conditions for Christmas Diners for firms.

The Restaurant "Solar do Farelo" associated with the "Adega da Quinta do Morgado da Torre", only wine producer in the region with D.O.C., offers to the clients the opportunity of, on Tuesdays, enjoying a "Wine Festival": free wine as wanted to accompany our food specialties such as Tepid Wild Boar Loin Salad with Dry Fruits, Lobster Cream, Lobster Medallions with Mango, Deer or Wild Boar Loin Medallions in Madeira Wine, Black Pork Loin with Plum and Apricot, Cod Fish Solar Style, etc. We can also make any dish that the costumer wishes if ordered in anticipation.

On Fridays the "Solar do Farelo" proposes a "Festival of Grilled" (must order in advance).

Special groups conditions.

We organize visits to the "Adega da Quinta do Morgado da Torre" for wine tasting, followed by lunch or dinner in the restaurant.
